Parents
Technology and online media has become an increasing presence in our children's lives. Learning to use media and technology responsibly is an important life skill for students. As the digital world changes and advances are made it is important to teach children how to be good citizens in their use of the internet and social media.
Digital Citizenship is the norms of appropriate, responsible technology use. Too often we are seeing students as well as adults misusing and abusing technology but not sure what to do. The issue is more than what the users do not know, but what is considered appropriate technology usage.
You will find several good resources here to use in discussing digital citizenship.
