November Community Service Project

Give to those in need! The Friends of Oakley has organized a food and toy drive for needy families this holiday season. Drop off your non-perishable foods and/or new, unwrapped toys at Laurel School daily between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm. There will be collection boxes in front of the Laurel MPR for any donations. Thank you on behalf of the Oakley community for your donations.

Watch a short video from Ms. Turner and Mr. Hobson explaining the project.

If you have any questions, email Ms. Turner  .

Mental Health and Social/Emotional Support Resources

We want all of our Oakley Union Elementary School District community to know their health and safety is our priority.  During times of uncertainty, it is important to concentrate on the physical and emotional health of students, staff, and families.  We have created this COVID-19 resource page with various resources, activities and hotlines to reach out for assistance.

In the event that this is an emergency, dial 9-1-1 for immediate help.

Counseling

We are living in a very different world right now and this can be very difficult for our children to process. Our counselors will still be available for families in need. You can reach Erin Turner, Laurel School Counselor, at 925-625-7090 or by email.
